Clean Juice is a company that started in Charlotte area back in 2015, and now they are located in 16 states with over 100 locations. The Twickenham Clean Juice had its grand opening back in September of 2018, and I visited for the first time yesterday. After commenting on an Instagram post, I was invited to stop in and talk about the blog.
When I got there, I met Trevor, their marketing director. He briefly explained the different menu items, and how they are made. After deciding to try their seasonal Winter Bowl, I went in the back to see their giant juicer. Clean Juice has a process which keeps the cell walls of the fruits and vegetables they use intact. All the nutrients are stored in the cell walls, and Clean Juice’s process keeps all the good stuff.
My Winter Bowl was ready, and I was glad because I hadn’t eaten lunch yet. The first bite was delicious. Forget frozen yogurt, just give me açaí bowls from now on. The Winter Bowl had all organic almond milk, cherries, coconut, açaí, granola, bananas, cacao, and cacao nibs. Typically, I am not a fan of chocolate, but the cacao in the bowl wasn’t overpowering. I just looked up the difference between chocolate, cocoa, and cacao (there’s a difference.)
Besides having outstanding food, I noticed the employees were happy to be at work. That’s something that is important to me, and I want to support companies that put good into the world. As I was leaving, I saw a prayer requests jar, and then I knew I was supposed to be at Clean Juice.
But what I am most excited to announce is that I am going to collaborate with Twickenhan Clean Juice. For one day I’ll be taking over their Instagram, sharing my experience trying their juices, and taking a shot at being a
