Today, I’m showing you all the delicious things I tried at Clean Juice for my Instagram take over! Collaborating with Clean Juice has been wonderful because I am always on the lookout for easy, healthy, and yummy foods to try. Since losing almost 20 pounds, I am doing my best to keep the weight off, but more importantly, to continue feeling good.

Losing that weight didn’t happen overnight. It took months of making small changes in my everyday routine, working out a little every day, and drinking protein smoothies every morning.

The first thing I sampled was the Orange One, an upgraded twist on your everyday orange juice that has carrots, oranges, pineapple, and turmeric. Most mornings I start off by drinking a cup of ginger and turmeric tea, so I really loved the extra spice in this. I did notice the carrot taste, but it wasn’t overpowering. After a small sample, I immediately decided to grab extra bottles to use in the smoothies I make in the mornings.

Then I tried their Green One. If you’re like me green juices aren’t really your thing. I will say I was surprised that it wasn’t terrible, but the only green that I like in my drinks are lime, mint, and occasionally cucumber. But if you like kale, you’ll love this.

While I was trying to figure out what to have for breakfast, a group of moms from Fit4Mom came in after their workout. After helping me take some adorable pictures and boomerangs, we became Instagram friends. Even though I’m not a mom, I want to go workout with them!

For breakfast I had the Mangos n’ Cream One, this was what I imagine a bath and body works lotion tastes like if you could eat it. I wasn’t expecting the cinnamon, but it was absolutely amazing! I liked that I was able to choose between whey and hemp protein powder because hemp protein powder is dairy free.

Later for lunch, I gobbled down an entire Beach Bowl. It’s basically a smoothie with pineapple, coconut, and granola. The pineapple was so sweet and juicy, which paired well with fresh coconut (I felt like I was eating a piña colada.) I’m still not exactly sure what açaí is, but I do know it’s yummy.

For dinner, I chose the So Basic One Smoothie. It’s strawberry and banana with a bit of almond butter, and it’s sweetened with maple syrup. It was good, but as the name suggests it was basic. If you’re not sure what smoothie to have, you can’t go wrong with this one.

As someone who has a lot of food sensitivities and is trying to eat healthier, I love that Clean Juice is in Huntsville. I love Clean Juice so much, that I’m going to see what it’s like to be a juicearista for a day! What do you want to see me learn to make?

With love from the East Coast,

Elaine
