Summer is here, and so are new Lilly prints and styles! I’ve put together a bunch of different looks that you can wear just about anywhere this summer.

Pineapple Printed

Merrill Top in Blue Haven Little Flamenco and 5” Buttercup Scalloped Hem Short in Pink Tropics

I absolutely adore this pink pineapple tank top. Pair it with my favorite shorts, and you have the perfect summer outfit. I feel like the scoop neck was a little lower than what I normally prefer, but it’s easy to fix with a bandeau, or simply adding some fashion tape.

Sweet Summer Shift

Shelli Shift Dress in Whisper Blue Boom Croc A Locca Engineered Dress

Normally, I wouldn’t even try this, but I couldn’t resist! It would be perfect for a summer wedding, bridal shower, or bachelorette party. This dress had a tie back cut out area, and sewn-in cupsa, so it’s okay to skip the bra!

Tropical Tunic

Madia Tunic Dress in Whisper Blue Boom Croc A Locca Engineered Dress

If I could live in this dress forever, I would. The fabric was soft, but it’s not a knit material. The detailing at the neckline was just a fun addition, to a simple, but elegant dress. You could wear this to go to the store, go to brunch with friends, or even go to a concert. It’s long enough to not have to worry about pulling your dress down all day long. It’s just lovely.

Sunshine Sophie

UPF 50+ Sophie Dress in Multi What a Lovely Place

If you get sunburned really easily, you need this dress. I love my Sophie Dress and wear it a lot during the fall, winter, and spring. I’m excited that since we are going to New England soon, I’ll get to wear it this summer. The neckline is kinda wide on these, so I suggest wearing a strapless bra with this one.

Sea-worthy Shift

Larsen Shift Dress in Crew Blue Sea to Shining Sea Engineered Shift

I’m a sucker for a cute shift dress, and this one is perfect for the Fourth of July. It’s a bit longer than most of my dresses, and it hits me at mid-knee (I’m 5’2” for reference.) Also, there’s a zipper in the front, which goes down past the bra-line (This is a breastfeeding friendly dress.) it’s made of a thick knit material which is super forgiving.

Everyday Ease

Etta Top in Multi What a Lovely Place and 5” Buttercup Scalloped Hem Short in Pink Tropics

I wear my Etta top way more than I excepted I would when I got it. It’s a lightweight top that is a flattering cut. I feel like the neck might be cut a little too low, but that’s nothing fashion tape can’t fix. Also if you haven’t heard, I am bananas about these shorts.

Colorful Callahans

Elly Top in Breakwater Tint and 5” Callahan Lace Short in Breakwater Tint Party Wave

The Elly Top is buttery soft, and made with a nice knit material. I love the flutter sleeves and slight boat neckline together (if you enjoy making fun Instagram boomerangs, you need this top!) I love this beautiful Party Wave Tint with the ladder lace up the edge. Unlike the Buttercup shorts, these are made with a thick almost jean like material.

Summery Swing Dress

Margot Swing Dress in High Tide Navy Scuba Doo

A Lilly Pulitzer fan favorite, the Margot is a light-weight dress perfect for a hot summer day. The halter neckline ties in the back, and has the cutest tassel details. If you’re in-between sizes, you might want to size down. Also, you’re going to either want a strapless bra or bracelet to wear with this dress.

Beautiful Bow

Luella Dress in Deep Sea Navy Shell Bells

This dress is so comfortable, its made with light-weight t-shirt material. The dress has a super-flattering cut with bow detail on one of the right shoulder. You could wear a sports bra and it wouldn’t show. It has a jewel neckline and is so cute. Plus it’s long enough to wear without shorts underneath if you’re around my height.

Coral Cocktail Dress

Vena Stretch Shift Dress in Capri Coral

This dress made me feel so gorgeous, the color is beautiful, and the details were so fun. The material has a bit of a stretch, but I’d still stick with your normal size. You’ll need a strapless bra in this dress, or maybe just a bandeau (TBH you might not even need one.)

Alessa Top in Havana Pink and 5” Buttercup Stretch Short in Multi Floridita

Alessa Top in Havana Pink and 5” Buttercup Stretch Short in Multi Floridita

The Alessa Top is made with the same material as the Elly Top, so it’s so soft. I really liked that the ruffle neck went all around the top. It’s a little bit lower in the back than I expected, but I think you’d still be able to wear a normal bra. These Buttercup Shorts are made with a little bit of a different material, think chino pants with a bit of stretch. Also I just love that there are flamingoes in the Floridita print!

Essie Top in Crew Blue Sea to Shining Sea and 5” Buttercup Scalloped Hem Short in Resort White

Essie Top in Crew Blue Sea to Shining Sea and 5” Buttercup Scalloped Hem Short in Resort White

I love Essie dresses, and the top is just as good. It’s a light-weight cotton shirt, with a smocking detail around the shoulders. As much as I adore the Buttercup shorts, the white ones are a bit see through. But that’s nothing a pair of skin-colored underwear can’t fix.

Trusty Tee

Etta Top in Multi Hot on the Scene and 5” Buttercup Scalloped Hem Short in Resort White

This Etta top is so pretty, and I liked the green and pink color combo. The light-weight cotton fabric is machine washable, and air dries fairly quickly. Your bra might slightly show through the shirt, but most of the time you’ll be fine (I’ve worn one of my Etta’s with a hot pink sports bra and a royal blue t-shirt bra, and it wasn’t noticeable.)

This weekend Lilly Pulitzer is doing a Father’s Day promotion! But if your dad isn’t a grill guy, tomorrow I will have my Father’s Day Gift Guide on the blog.

With Love from the East Coast,
